New Medicine Support Service

As one of our valued customers, if you've been prescribed a new medicine for a long-term condition, you may be eligible for the New Medicine Support Service (NMS) offered by the NHS in England.

When you collect your new medicine from one of our pharmacies, our pharmacists will offer you the NMS service if you're eligible. The NMS is a free scheme that provides extra help and advice to people who have been prescribed new medicines for long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and heart disease.

The service includes three appointments with a pharmacist, the first when you start your medicine, and the second and third two weeks apart, to discuss any issues you may have experienced with the medicine.

Our pharmacists are dedicated to helping you use your medicine safely and effectively. They will provide you with guidance on how to fit your treatment around your lifestyle, answer any questions you may have about side effects, and help you get back on track if you're struggling to take your medicine regularly or finding a tablet hard to swallow.

At our pharmacy, we strive to provide our customers with the highest level of care and support. If you've been prescribed a new medicine for a long-term condition, speak to our pharmacists to see if you're eligible for the New Medicine Service. We're always here to help you manage your health and wellbeing.
